SEO Audit
Massblogger includes two complementary SEO analysis tools: the SEO Audit for a high-level AI-generated site report, and the SEO Check for a deep per-page crawl powered by DataForSEO.
SEO Audit
The SEO Audit tool generates a full written report for any website. Reports run in the background — you can navigate away after starting one and come back when it is ready. Past reports are saved so you can compare over time.
Find it at Dashboard → SEO Audit.
How to run a report
- Enter the website URL (e.g.
example.com) in the input field. - Click Run. A toast notification confirms the report has started.
- You can navigate away — the report continues in the background and will be ready when you return to the Audit page.
- Use the Search reports… dropdown to reload any previous report by URL.
Auto-start via URL
You can deep-link directly to an audit for a specific URL by using query parameters. This is useful for bookmarks, automated workflows, or linking from other parts of the dashboard:
/dashboard/audit?url=example.com&autoReport=1url— the website to audit (withouthttps://).autoReport=1— starts the report immediately on page load.
Report history
Every completed audit is saved to your account. When you revisit the Audit page, the most recent report is loaded automatically. Use the search dropdown in the header to switch between past reports for different domains. Reports can be printed using your browser's print function — the UI chrome is hidden automatically.
SEO Check
The SEO Check tool runs a technical on-page crawl of your website using DataForSEO. It checks every page for common SEO issues and gives you a prioritised list of fixes with specific instructions for each problem.
Find it at Dashboard → SEO Check.
How to run a check
- Enter the website URL in the input field.
- Select how many pages to crawl using the pages dropdown: Single page, 20, 50, 100, or 200 pages. Start with a single page for a quick spot-check, or use 50–200 for a full site audit.
- Click Run SEO Check. A progress bar shows live crawl status (pages crawled / total).
- Results appear automatically when the crawl finishes (typically under a minute for small sites; up to ~6 minutes for 200 pages).
Understanding the results
The SEO Check report has three sections:
On-page score
An overall percentage score plus six category scores — Meta data, Page quality, Page structure, Links, Server, and External factors. Each category shows a green ✓ (good), amber ⚠ (needs attention), or red ✗ (failing). Site-wide checks like SSL, sitemap, robots.txt, and HTTP/2 support are shown here too.
What to fix and how
A prioritised table of every issue found, sorted by the number of affected pages. Each row shows the issue name, how many pages are affected (click to see the list of URLs), and a plain-English instruction for how to fix it.
Pages
A list of all crawled pages sorted by on-page score (lowest first). Expand any page to see its meta title and description, and the specific issues found on that page with fix instructions.
Content Suggestions tab
The SEO Check page also includes a Content Suggestions tab. After running a crawl, switch to this tab to get AI-generated content improvement ideas based on the crawled pages for your domain.
Issues reference
The SEO Check detects over 50 issues. The most common ones to watch for are:
| Issue | How to fix |
|---|---|
| Missing title tag | Add a unique <title> tag (30–65 characters). |
| Missing meta description | Add a unique meta description (120–160 characters). |
| Missing H1 | Add exactly one H1 that describes the page topic. |
| Thin content | Add substantial text (300+ words) for indexing. |
| Slow page load | Optimise assets, reduce payload, use a CDN. |
| Images without alt text | Add descriptive alt text to all images. |
| Orphan page | Add internal links from other pages so it is discoverable. |
| Missing sitemap | Add an XML sitemap and submit it in Search Console. |
| Redirect chain | Point links directly to the final destination URL. |
| Mixed content (HTTPS→HTTP) | Use HTTPS for all links and resources. |
